Feb 4th - Port Renfrew (#10)
Monica and I went for a paddle up the San Juan River. The tide was on its way out so it was quite an effort to paddle up stream! It was a beautiful afternoon! After we got back to the beach by the lodge, I went for another short surf and again had a few nice rides!

Mike, this looks like an interesting paddle up the river. I'd like to give it a try with some friends. Maybe you could describe where to launch?
It was nice. best done at a highish tide. We launched right in front of the B&B we were staying at, but there is a good spot just to the left before crossing the bridge. We launched from there when we did our Renfrew to Victoria leg.
