March 26 - Cattle Point (#8)

Pete and I got together for a paddle in the Bay. We had grand ambitions of making it to Oak Bay, but it was a bit windy, so we turned around at Cattle Point. It was great to paddle with Pete again and catch up!

March 25 - Cadboro Bay (#7)

I took the Trident Angler out to check my crab traps and it was a bit breezy (you can see I was slow on the return trip. (On the outbound you can see where I stopped to drop off the shells and stuff from the previous crabbing trip!) The crabbing was unsuccessful (one empty trap and one with two females) so I brought everything back.

March 17 - Finnerty Cove (#6)

I paddled out to Staines Islet where I met Fraser for a nice coastline paddle. We got to chat lots and catch up. We saw a river otter, a harbour seal, lots of buffleheads, hooded and common mergansers, oystercatchers, Canada geese and more.
