October 12 - Buttle Narrows (#20)

While Monica and I were camping at Buttle Lake, I took the Aquaglide Chelan out for a short paddle around the narrows. My GPS plot did not work, so I have made an approximate route based on memory...

We had great weather and it was good to be testing our new trailer for off grid camping...

April 2nd - Colorado River (#5)

I took the inflatable Blackfoot with us on our Utah road trip and managed to get it out once! I did a paddle down a stretch for the Colorado River from just below Moab to our campsite at Gold Bar (by the Corona Arch Trail). It was nice to have around a knot of current in my favour and it was great to get out on the water for a couple of hours. The river was not deep and I even ran aground at one point! Not a lot of birds seen, though I did see one great blue heron. I did get to see some of the petroglyphs we had seen from the road again from the river which was nice and it was cool to paddle down a part of this famous river (though I guess when I paddled on Lake Mead and Lake Powell I was on the same river!)

September 24th - Crystal Cove, Tofino (#67)

I went for a short paddle out from Mackenzie Beach while we were camping at Crystal cove Resort. Conditions were nice with very little swell. The Aquaglide inflatable is not the fastest craft! :)

April 22 - Pixie Lake (#23)

I went to the Port Renfrew area to camp with the camper and do some fishing. While I was there I managed to do a little paddling with my new Oarboard inflatable SUP as a SUP as well as my inflatable Aquaglide kayak. Both worked well for paddling around the lake. It wasn't a very big lake so not much of a test! :) Fun all the same!

October 11th - Cadboro Bay (#99)

I went for a short afternoon paddle in the Aquaglide inflatable to try it out and get a quick breath of fresh air! It handles well, though it is a tad slow (see the track!), but it will make a good fishing platform.
