August 20-30 - Great Bear Rainforest (#s 58 to 64)

While working as expedition leader for Maple Leaf Adventures on board MV Cascadia I managed to get out for 7 paddles over two trips. I enjoy paddling these Aquaglide Chelan 155 inflatables. They are comfortable, track well and are not too slow! :)

May 27th - McMicking Inlet (#48)

Carl and I went for an evening paddle to join the gang on the beach by the bog forest. We had the wind behind us on the way out and against on the way back to Cascadia. It was a beautiful evening and we also went for a short hike to the bog forest behind the beach. There were lots of sundews in the bog - more than I have seen before.

September 18th - Kitasu Bay (#68&69)

I was able to get out for a couple of paddles in Kitasu bay as we were waiting for the helicopter to start our lifting operations as part of the #BCCoastalCleanup. The first paddle was a series of errands, checking in with other boats in the fleet and sharing data. I also went out to the tugboat to share data with them. The second one was a pleasure paddle, which started off well since I saw a Mola Mola almost as soon as I started paddling!
